Add your site to Maltalinks

You may add your own favourite websites or URLs to be added to Maltalinks search results at no cost:

1. Enter the URL that you want to add in the Site URL box:

  • URLs will be considered for inclusion into the Maltalinks search results in 4-6 weeks;
  • URLs that return a 404 error will be removed from the search results;
  • Submission of your URL does not guarantee inclusion into the Maltalinks search results.;
  • Sites that are unrelated to Malta, not created by Maltese persons or their descendants abroad, that contain adult/pornographic or terrorist material, or that do not confirm to Maltalinks policy for inclusion in its crawler index will not be included into the Maltalinks search results.

    Maltalinks Submission Policies

    Maltalinks strives to provide the most relevant search results on the Web for all content related to Malta and created by the Maltese.

    In order to maintain the integrity of the search index, we must sometimes exclude submissions from Maltalinks search results. Examples of pages that are deleted from Maltalinks include, but are not limited to:

    • Pages with text that is not easily read, either because it is too small or is obscured by the background of the page
    • Pages with off-topic or excessive keywords
    • Pages that duplicate content, either by excessive submission of the same page, submitting the same pages from multiple domains, or submitting the same content from multiple hosts
    • Pages that are machine-generated with minimal or no content, whose sole purpose is to get a user to click to another page
    • Pages that contain only links to other pages
    • Pages of which the primary intent is to redirect users to another page
    • Pages that violate a court order or otherwise are required to be removed by a court or governmental regulatory body

    Attempts to fill Maltalinks search results with misleading or promotional pages lower the value of the index for everyone. We do not allow URL submissions from customers who spam the index and will exclude all such pages from the index.

    We reserve the right to remove and/or to disable links to a Web site or Web page to which Maltalinks has determined, in its sole discretion, that improper steps have been taken to manipulate Maltalinks search results.
